Remember the Garden of Eden; they were told not to touch the tree in the middle of the garden. So what do you think they decided to do, you guessed it, they ate the fruit. There are some things that God says don?t touch. You might have thought that man learned his lesion when he was expelled from the garden but apparently not! As Israel is granted the victory over Jericho, one man again reaches out his hand and touches the things God said, don?t touch. This time he took the ?things devoted to the Lord,? the tithe on the land of Israel.
